Please help us welcome our newest watercolor artist - James Faecke! James has a strong background in architecture and illustration, and that background strongly influences his current work. His subject matter focuses on landscapes with human elements in them such as a barn, a piece of farming equipment, or a cityscape. His loose brushstrokes suggest details rather than sharply defining them, allowing the viewers mind to fill in the details without even knowing it. His goal is to have his painting give the viewer the same emotional response that he had when encountering that location in real life.
