Please help us welcome our newest soft pastel artist - Amy Fichter! Amy's work focuses on the human body and how we interact with it. We experience our world through our body and Amy explores that concept using bold strokes of color. This use of color adds a liveliness to the body that invokes the constant movement of atoms within the body. She also chooses to draw people who are meaningful to her personally, who have had an influence in her life and who she is strongly connected to. The act of drawing these important people in her life brings her closer to them. Amy's work is life size, so photos really don't do the work justice.
