Kimberly Burnett

Artist Bio

Kimberly Burnett is a self taught fine artist and illustrator. She grew up in an isolated region of the foothills of North Carolina, surrounded by forests and wild animals. From the age of 2, she knew she was going to be an artist, reading every art book in the local library and drawing constantly.

Today her work is defined by a degree of realism that is inspired by her love of the old classical painters of Europe. Because of her synesthesia, she experiences moods, music, memories and places in different colors, which can be seen in her colorful portraits and still lifes. Her work is mostly inspired by nature and the people she loves in her life.
