You can make this shawl with one skein of yarn. Cindy Lou hired a designer to create a special pattern for Woodland Studios that would take advantage of some of our great novelty yarns. The goal was to make an elegant, simple to knit shawl that could be made in a couple of hours. It's called the Pistachio Shawl because of the yarn Cindy likes best for this pattern.

And CindyLou designed a beautiful ponchito the combines the complimentary colors and textures of these unique, USA made, hand-dyed, hand-spun yarns. Anyone who can knit a scarf can make one of these beautifully, uniquely designed shawls. So many people have asked Cindy to help them with color choices that she put together her favorite colors and created this variety of complete kits.

CindyLou has created several very popular designs and people are always asking for her creative opinion on colors, embellishments etc.... so she put together a bunch of her favorites and made them into complete kits.

The inspiration behind this was to create a tie for David George (TV27 Weather) to wear on his show. Every time David wears a tie, money gets donated to the food pantry. Sooo, Cindy created this unique for a tie that any man would be proud to wear (David was anyways). Well, it's not a kit... but it is a pattern you can get from Cindy Lou!
