Doug Moyer - Enhancing the inherent beauty of photography with digital painting.

"Over the past few years, we have had the pleasure of working with Doug as he has evolved his photography into his art. He is versatile with experimentation, has a good eye for composition and technique, and is developing a style that is uniquely his own."

Doug Moyer's Digital Paintings can be ordered at almost any size. Woodland Studios prints Doug's work on museum quality, giclee prints on fine art papers and canvas. All of these images are printed as "one-off" fine art prints under the supervision of the artist.

About Doug Moyer...

Doug Moyer is a self-taught photographer whose artwork primarily explores the breathtaking natural beauty of our homeland.  Doug enjoys capturing nature from our Wisconsin landscapes and farmsteads as well as our nations monumental and stunning domestic parks.

The advent of digital technologies, coupled with the encouragement of Gary and Cindy Lou at Woodland Studios, was the essence for rekindling Doug’s interest in the artistry of photography and digital painting. He operates from a core belief that digital technologies allow an artist to look critically at each aspect of an individual illustration. With this in mind, Doug uses digital painting to delicately reinforce and enhance what is inherently natural in each of his pieces. For him, the goal and challenge with each piece is “to bring out and enhance the harmonious beauty without subtracting from the original canvas.”

Doug strives with every image to impart a sense of the pastoral and nostalgia for our scenic landscapes, countryside and woodlands.
