| Here's what one participant had to say...
Gary & Cindy... What can I say! The Sally Melville workshops, your
hospitality and customer sevice plus the friendliness of Stoughton made this a
remarkable weekend. Sally's workshops have empowered me as a knitter and have
given me the tools necessary to become braver in my knitting decisions
and choices. I can't wait to attend another one of your workshops. So I will end by saying - Bob's your uncle!!!"

One of the class participants emailed us saying, "the workshops were outstanding... I'm so glad I participated". I think that about sums it up for everyone. It's no wonder she is the biggest selling knitting author ever! We sold out of her books... we took orders for more... and Sally was good enough to autograph stickers for everyone so we can apply them to the books when they come in.
As for me (Gary), a non-knitter... but sort of Woodland's knitters mascot... I have to say, even being a non-knitter, but as an artist that I found Sally to be a creative inspiration as, what I called a 'better world evangelist'. I say this because of how she speaks of knitting in a way that stresses the important role it plays as a community builder and how it will re-emerge as a craft to help sustain us through the changing times ahead.
On a variety of levels, it has been a pure pleasure getting to know Sally Melville... and to be inspired by her vision for our craft!
