Most classes are limited in size, so if it is important for you to be in any particular class, please be sure to pay using the website, or call, or stop by Woodland for payment arrangements.
Keep checking here for postings of class status! - Classes could be cancelled, and registration fees would be refunded if minimum student requirements are not met.

Beginner Knitting Course - "Learn To Knit"
Evening Sessions (6:00-7:30pm) – Thursdays 1/14, 1/21, 1/28
3 Sessions — Beginner — $55.00 - Teacher: Cindy Hoesly
This is a great beginner (or even refresher) course for any age. Learn the basics and have fun creating a Scarf or Shawl. By the time you're finished you'll know how to cast on, knit and purl, increase and decrease, bind off, measure gauge, read simple instructions and more.

Taking it to the next step. Since you know the basics, have fun either following a simple pattern for creating either a hat or mittens. By the time you're finished you'll know how to read a simple pattern and will have created the pattern of your choice. Pattern included.

Learn the difference between Twists, Crosses and Cables. And how how just 2 stitches can create a pattern stitch to turn a plain sweater into something special. You will also be using charted knitting symbols, so this will be a great place to start if you've not used them before.
